We want to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in our biggest beach clean in Cornwall to date! As soon as we got down to The Greenbank’s very own Beach, we were all shocked to see what we found. From tyres to wooden pallets, traffic cones to lighters, socks and sardine tins, we also managed to find various glass and ceramics alongside plastic bottles and containers.

It was great to see some regulars of The Greenbank and The Working Boat attending this beach clean. But we also got to see some some new faces that wanted to do their bit for the planet.

As a thank you to all of our volunteers, we served free drinks and chunky chips to reward them for all their hard work.  And with nine Surfers Against Sewage bags full to the brim and many obscure parts to recycle, we had a great time – and hope all our volunteers did too!
