Did you join us for the Pink Wig pre-party 2024?

If so you’ve helped us raise £1,142.40 for this fantastic, local charity. Celebrating the start of Falmouth Week, the pre-party marked the start of the Pink Wig festivities. Lead by local legend Betty Stogs and the Falmouth Marine band, participants got the chance to show off their spookiest Freaky Friday outfits in the annual march along the seafront.

Guests joined us in the marquee for music and cocktails with half of all cocktail sales donated to Pink Wig. What started as a night out in 2009 in support of Pink Wig Founder Sally’s cancer treatment, has grown into a Falmouth Week staple, loved by locals and tourists alike. From humble beginnings, it has gone on to raise over £185,000 for a selection of cancer charities.

Fancy taking part this year? Now with a new ‘Mermaid March’ theme, join us on Friday 8th August 2025 to help us raise money for The Mermaid Centre – the leading breast cancer diagnosis and treatment facility at Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.
