After last year’s success, we’re so excited to be once again be hosting Cornwall’s only Dragon Boat Race on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July 2026 from our very own quay.

Setting off from our pontoons, watch the brightly coloured boats race up and down from The Greenbank shoreline with a pint in hand. This year, we’re partnering with the RNLI, donating 10% of all proceeds from food and drink sales to this incredible, life-saving charity. Last year, we proudly raised £955 for Mylor Sailability. We will be serving bacon baps in the morning, and rustling up our famous dirty fries all day. If you’d like to eat inside, we advise booking a table here.

At this free event, you can expect to enjoy a thrilling weekend of Dragon Boat racing, with teams competing throughout both days to take home the winning titles. Spectator, winner or loser, there’ll be lots on offer.

Dragon boat racing is an exhilarating sporting event where teams compete in canoe-like vessels fitted with hand carved dragon’s heads and tails. With up to 17 people per boat paddling to compete in races at nearly 250m distances, spectators can expect to view an incredibly exciting and adrenaline pumping race from our quay. Lap up the excitement from the shoreline or revel in victory on the water.
