PLEASE SPEAK TO YOUR SERVER BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER, IF YOU SUFFER FROM ANY FOOD INTOLERANCE OR ALLERGY

PLEASE NOTIFY US
We take the presence of allergies and intolerances seriously. Allergen information is provided for our ingredients and dishes, but we ask you to advise us of any allergies or intolerances before you order. Whilst we have identified the allergens that are in the dishes, please be aware that there may be traces of allergens in the dish due to manufacturing or cooking methods.

GLUTEN FREE
We do not offer a specific gluten free menu, we use a variety of ingredients free from gluten for specific dishes, but we cannot guarantee these products remain gluten free due to the risk of cross contamination in the kitchens. There is always a risk of cross contamination in the kitchens, we cannot guarantee a gluten or allergy free environment.

Cornwall Hotel Collection works in partnership with Cornwall council, food safety and Trading Standards, to ensure the highest standards of food safety. Guidance for allergen safety, inclusive of gluten free follows their advice, with the aim to ensure to the best of our ability that anyone with an intolerance or allergy can be catered safely within our premises.

On rare occasions, it may be deemed unsafe for our kitchens and restaurants, to prepare or serve foods in line with specific complex requests. This will be due to the risk of cross contamination and air borne allergies. Alternative provisional would need to be made by the guest, acknowledging these risks.

DEEP FAT FRYING
Deep fat frying is an important cooking process in our kitchens; the ingredients within dishes which are deep fried will be cooked in the same fryer as other ingredients which may contain allergens and therefore there will be a risk of cross contamination.

CHANGING MENUS
Our chefs are always keen to create new dishes and introduce seasonal specialities. Please check allergen information each time you visit as changes to recipes are made.

OUR KITCHENS
Whilst we make every effort to minimise cross contamination, please be aware that our dishes are made and prepared in an environment where allergens are present.

OUR BARS – COFFEE & COCKTAILS
Please advise your server of any allergy or intolerance you have. Our baristas and bar staff are allergy trained and will advise if your chosen beverage is suitable for your specific allergy or intolerance. If not, they will happily create something fantastic for you.

With many of us choosing a plant-based diet, more people are requesting milk alternatives. We embrace this preference, but special care for customers with allergies or intolerances is needed. Our baristas purge and wipe coffee machine arms after each use and only use one side of our machines for non-milk products, but these processes may not be enough to remove every trace of a potential allergen. If you have an allergen, our freshly prepared frothed milk drinks may not be suitable for you.

GENETICALLY MODIFIED FOODS
The policy of this company is that it does not knowingly sell any foods that contain Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). The only exception to this may be cooking oil for deep fat frying. As standard we use a non-GMO rapeseed oil. Due to global pressures, at times, our supplier may need to use vegetable oil; this product cannot be guaranteed as non-GMO.

PLEASE SPEAK TO US
On rare occasions, we may feel we will struggle to safely accommodate your needs. We will do everything we can to or offer you a suitable replacement.
